Jon Darling - Founder

Jon Darling is an accomplished songwriter and composer who spent his formative years in touring bands, opening for such acts as Jimmy Eat World, Incubus and Sparta. After playing shows in and around California over the years, Jon moved from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles, where he made his foray into music for advertising by singing on a Cannes Lion nominated commercial. After scoring hundreds of commercials as a freelancer, Jon founded SOUTH in 2009 and continues to write music and compose for picture from his studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
